Question
what is the capacity in hours and weight of the small and next size D Oxygen Cylinder

Answer

The D Oxygen Cylinder has a capacity of 424 liters.  The hours of operation vary depending upon what type of regulator you may have on the unit.  The cylinder is light weight aluminum and weighs only 4.9lbs.

The next smaller cylinder is our C Oxygen Cylinder and it has a capacity of 248 liters.  Again, the hours of operation vary depending on regulators.  The weight of this unit is 3.5lbs.

Question
For a Family Nurse Practitioner student who will be working with children of all ages, including neonates and infants, which stethoscope would be the most beneficial? Do I need to purchase a pediatric and an infant stethoscope? Thanks for your advice.

Question
I'm a mother of 5 year twins. With this season, they have been coughing...especially at night. Is nebulaizer good just to alleviate the coughing? Does this need medicine or justsimply air?

Thank you for your inquiry.  We would not recommend using a nebulizer to treat your childrens cough.  Try using a humidifier at night to help them breathe.

Air-Eze Incentive Deep Breathing Exerciser,00751729INM

Question
Will this help to strengthen my lungs?Also... Does this have a different settings to make the exercise more intense?

Answer

The device measures the flow rate of air (in cubic centimeters per second) you can push through your lungs.  It is not about resistance built into the device, but rather how quickly and how much air you can expel through your lungs.  With practice you will be able to expand your lungs to hold more air as well as to enable your lungs to force the air out with greater force.

Pressure Reducing Foam Mattress,2-0056

Question
My mom is 86 and living at home. She stays on the first floor and sleeps in a hospital bed. I would like to replace her innerspring. Since she is in and out of bed herself are the side foam support beds good for her? She weighs about 120 lbs.

Answer
The side supports will not hinder her from getting in and out of the bed on her own.  They are simply a form of additional support for patient transfer if the person isn't physically able to move on their own.
