Bariatric Comfort Gel Plus gel overlay is consructed to provide superior protection against skin breakdown for the heavier patients. It''s full two inch layer of gel is divided into 14 cells to prevent cell migration. Our lightweight gel is unsurpassed for pressure reduction. We are able to double the amount of gel, yet make the total weight of the overlay less than others on the market today.

The Barriatric Comfort Gel Plus gives the maximum pressure reduction and meets all Medicare guidelines for Group 1 surfaces. The cover is made of a durable, comfortable fluid-resistant nylon. The gel is bordered on each side by three inches of firm foam to assist transferring in and out of bed. This border helps prevent patients from rolling out of bed. On top of the gel and foam borders is a 1" layer of soft high-density foams which adds to comfort by insulating the patient from the temperature changes. This bariatric overlay is the smart choice for the longer patients.
