I am an 88 year old diabetic with a hammertoe. What can I use to keep my second toe from pressing on my big toe? The doctors only want to cut off my toe. I am too old for that and am afraid because of my diabetes. Thank you.

For a sports-related injury, your best bet would be to use item #401VENMM - which is a sports knee brace. The stainless steel hinges keep it in place and its made out of  neoprene with Velcro adjustments.

The brace comes in various sizes as well.

Greetings!I am searching for an item (not sure of correct name) which I have seen in our area hospital.On the hospital commode in each patient's room, they have a bracket assembly whereby when the patient is ready to get off the commode, this bracket assembly has a support handle on each side.Also, the bracket assembly and the commode seat are connected together. That is, when you raise the commode seat, the bracket assembly and the commode seat move up and down in unison.I have contacted several area medical supplies houses in my hometown; yet, they either don't seem to understand what I'm describing; or, they know what it is but just don't carry it on their store.If you can assist me in any way, I would really appreicate it.
