The unit is up to 99% efficient in destroying airborne mold spores, bacteria, ozone, viruses, dust mites, allergens and other airborne pollutants.  We dont have any test data on air born egg particles, but in principle it should be effective.

According to the manufacturing specs, the cart has a weight capacity of up to 50 lbs.  If you would like to make the top of the cart more rigid, we can add cross members below the top plate for an additional $35.00.  Please let us know if you would like for us to put a quote together for you.

What is the total weight of this tub with Water We are trying to calculate to know if the floor would need to be reinforced.

Answer

The entire unit weighs about 200lbs with turbine tub and plumbing components.  Your actual water use will vary depending upon the weight/size of the person in the tub and how submerged they will be. 

Water is 4.333 pounds per gallon, so if you were to fill the tub to it's FULL capacity of water (without person in tub as it would overflow) the weight of the water would be about 325lbs.  Of course you will not have it filled to this capacity when it is in use, but this may be a point of reference.

If the tub is filled 3/4 full and the user is 150lbs the tub, water and user will make the over all weight just under 600lbs per unit.
