The 17 inch dimension is the outside of the seat.  The standard size of the opening on the clamp on seats is approximately 8in wide and 9in deep.

Not clear on description. Detail section states 40 width. However the description indicates the screen telecopes out from the wall 39 in to 90 in. Please explain what the 40 in width is and confirm this does telescope out to 90. Also does the screen fold flat against wall when not in use

This is a telescoping screen.  The 40 inch width is the minimum width out from the wall if not extended.  The telescoping bar is 39 inches wide when collapsed and 90 inches when fully extended.  The screen does pivot 180 degrees for flat storage when not in use.

The description states a fixed height of the trapeze bar. Cant the height be adjusted We need to use a non-adustable bed fixed at approximately 23 from floorat home and I was hoping for some adjustments. The picture indicates there may be adjustments. Thank you.

The height on this model is adjustable and does not say fixed.  The trapeze height adjusts from 37 inches minimum to 49 inches maximum.  The overall height of the unit adjusts from 65 inches minimum to 77 inches maximum.

My 3 yr. old son has severe epilepsy and PDD. Because a toddler bed is not safe for him we are looking at other options. He is 39 tall and 40 pounds. Is this bed appropriate for him Do you deal with insurance if my Dr. writes a prescription for this bed? Thank you!

This crib would be a suitable fit for your needs, however there are less expensive options available if you do not need the trendelenburg deck or the klimer feature.  I would be happy to offer you pricing on alternative options if this is the case.

Unfortunately, MSEC does not bill insurance for any purchases, however if you need to order an item, we would be happy to provide you any necessary documentation that you can submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement.

Unfortunately, as these items are prepackaged by the manufacturer, we are unable to substitute density cores.

A similar option would be our Dual Core Foam Pillow and you could choose the firm option for firm and extra firm foam cores.

There is not a specific time frame as this would vary patient to patient.  The adhesive is considered "long lasting" however it is recommended to check the site of use every couple of hours to ensure no pressure sores or rashes are being caused by the sensor.

I AM LOOKING FOR STANDING SLING FOR THE HOYER LIFT. MY CLIENT CREATED A PROBLEM THAT I NEED TO BE ABLE TO HAVE THE PATIENT STAND INSIDE THE LIFT LEGS. I CURRENTLY HAVE THE HOYER LIFT THAT IS PORTALBLE AND IT WORKS AS STATED. GREAT THE ARM ON THE LIFT ONLY REACHES SO HIGH AND I NEED TO MAKE IT A STANDING MODEL. CAN I CHANGE OUT THE ARM AND GET THE HEIGHT NEEDED FOR A STAND SLING. THE PERSON IS 6FT. AND IT JUST DOES CLEAR HIS SHOULDER WHEN FULLY EXTENDED. CAN YOU HELP.

Thank you for your inquiry.  We are not familiar with the processing process for cotton balls.  It would stand to reason that given the natural color of cotton, bleaching for that purpose may not be neccessary, however, other cleansing processes may be applicable.

We must advise that any product issues must be reported to MSEC within the 30 day returns timeframe to ensure prompt care and issuance of replacement if approved by the manufacturer. We have reviewed your order and returns history and the only defect issue was reported after the 30 day returns timeframe, however due to the inconvenience, MSEC discounted the cost of your replacement.
