For self monitoring, we would definitely recommend a digital/automatic unit as it would be difficult for an individual to self monitor with an aneroid unit.  We unfortunately do not have any Propper units which would be suitable for self monitoring.

Thank you for your inquiry.  We do offer bariatric beds.  How much does your father weigh and how tall is he?  What is his general health?  Most medical beds offer similar features, but the key to comfort is in the mattress.  Selecting an appropriate mattress is very important.  Medicare evaluates claims on a case-by-case basis.  We do not accept Medicare and therefore are not equipped to answer your reimbursement question.  We do not offer trade-in or remove the bed from premises.  You can donate your bed to a local charitable organization and they will come and pick it up.

Of our Atraumatic Forceps, neither of these clamps are smooth.  Both options do have a line of "teeth", but not a solid serration.  Other serrated options are our Johns Hopkins Bulldog Clamps and our Dieffenbach Serrefines.

I need a bed for my disabled, 82 yr. old Mother. She nedds a hospital bed that is not too high from floor to the top of the mattress. Does the bed lower to make it easier for an elderly person impaired mobility to get in it What is the height from the floor to the top of the mattress?

This bed does not adjust in overall height.  The lowest it will be from the top of the mattress is approximately 25 inches.  We do have high-low hospital beds which have a fabric height as low as 20 inches or fixed low beds that will be as low as 6-15 inches from the floor.
