I do possess a prescription. However, I was impressed with a portable tens unit I just reviewed in a shopping mall in Utah. The unit I'm describing is merely 2 wide, 3 tall, and is around 1/2' thick, and utilizes a lithium battery. In addition, the only parts to replace are the pads (not stems). Also, you can add plastic shoes onto the device, instead of pads.Do sell one like this?

Thank you for your inquiry.  I do not believe we have a unit this small.  On our Tens Units the pads would have to be replaced as well, but the lead wires need only be replaced if they are damaged or lost.

I am looking for some sort of cushion for my father. He has a massive amount of scar tissue on his rear end from several surgeries many years ago. He cannot sit for any length of time without pain. I am looking for a cushion to fit on his lifting recliner. Thanks.

what is the correct way to read the markings on the height rod and which part of the rod will show me the actual height.

Read the height of the person as follows:

1. The rear end of the measuring arm is tapered to point at the reading on the height rods.
2. If the tapered end of the measuring arm points at the outer height rod, then the height of the person is same as the reading at this point on the outer height rod.
3. If the tapered end of the measuring arm points at the inner height rod, then the correct height of the person is same as the reading shown on the inner height rod where both the height rod meets, i.e., read at the top of the outer height rod (Just above the “Read” arrow marked on the outer height rod).
4. While holding the measuring arm horizontally, raise the arm above the person’s head. The person may now step off the scale platform. Hold the arm horizontal until the person is clear of the height rod.
5. Fold the measuring arm back to the vertical position and adjust the height rod back to the rest position (i.e. the measuring arm should be locked in place within the inner height rod and the inner rod should be at its lowest position).

We do not see any reason why you can not use a standard quad with a fancy handle.  Most handles are pressed or screwed onto the aluminum handle bar stock.  When ordering the replacement handle, simply make sure that the inside diameter of the new handle will fit onto the outside diameter of the handle bar.

I have either a pulled muscle in lower right rear rib cage or possibly a cartilage tear. Is a rib support belt recommended for this? This is a problem of 4 weeks. X-rays show no broken ribs.

Thank you for the inquiry. The shipping on the replacment mattress would be $28.29 via Fedex ground.  The mattress does have a fire rating on the mattress. It does have a cover that is cleans easy with a wet towel and soap.  This item would ship from Mudelien, IL.
