I am a diabetic who has to do a lot of standing and running around on the job on hard floors (waxed tiles in particular). I also have many foot problems including hammer-toe in each foot, arthritis,corns, possibly charcot, swelling that comes and goes and some heel/achilles pain. Bursae (one is a bursa) are fluid-filled sacs that cushion areas of friction between tendon and bone or skin. Like air-filled bubble wrap, these sacs reduce friction between moving parts of the body, such as in the shoulder, elbow, hip and knee.

The rotator cuff is the name for the tendons that surround the shoulder joint. The rotator cuff is actually a group of four muscles and their tendons that wraps around the front, back, and top of the shoulder joint.
