You have a lack of oxygen that pervents sugar development. Glycolysis is the sequence of reactions that converts glucose into pyruvate with the concomitant production of a relatively small amount of ATP. Glycolysis can be carried out anerobically (in the absence of oxygen) and is thus an especially important pathway for organisms that can ferment sugars.

Hi, Years ago my mother worked at the state facility for mentally handicapped adults. The ward she worked on had cribs that were the size of a twin bed. Where can I get one of these cribs? I have a special needs child that will not be safe in a triditional twin size bed but is quickly outgrowing her crib.Thanks
