I work for a law office and we have a recent case involving an xray table called the Advantx RFX Table and 8735 Spot-film device Model 46-250302G158. Made by GE. I am looking for a safety harness that is to go with this machine. One is requried for this machine and they did not use one. Can you tell me anything about it? or where I could get one?

The manufacturer suggests that Sani Cloth can be used for disinfecting non-porous hard surfaces, for use in hospitals and other critical care areas where control of the hazards of cross-contamination is of prime importance.  It can be used on surfaces and equipment such as stainless steel, Formica, glass, carts, baskets, counters, cabinets and other hard nonporous surfaces. It is a low alcohol product, so it should also may be safe on LCD monitors.

My son wants to wear ankle & wrist weights to strengthen his arms & legs for soccer. He's 10 years old. What weight should I consider as to not interfere with normal development? Or do you even recommend this? Thanks. Michelle

Thank you for your inquiry. One to 1.5 lbs weights should be sufficient for him.  However, wearing ankle and wrist weights will have minimum impact on his performance.  As an avid soccer player myself, the best way to build strength for playing soccer is through low resistanc training such as push ups, sit ups and squats as well as sprint drills.  Hope this helps and good luck.

I once saw a chair in a doctors office that would take people up and down the stairs. It was electric and it was mounted to the wall on a rail so when you were in the chair you would push the button to go up or down. I am interested in finding a chair like that for my grandma because she has trouble wakling up the stairs. Could you please let me know if you have something like that. Thank you.

We would recommend contacting a local durable medical equipment dealer or reseller.  You can ussually find their listings in the local Yellow Pages.  The chair track has to be custom installed based on the layout of the staircase as well as the weight of the individual.  As a result, these types of projects are best handled by local firms.
