This passive infrared alarm affixes to the headboard or bed frame, allowing patient to move freely within bed. If patient attempts to leave bed, the infrared beam detects motion and sends out your choice of an alarm or chime tone.

  • Allows patient to move freely within bed
  • When connected to the nurse call system, the alarm can be set to "remote", which keeps the alarm silent in the room but sends a signal to the nurses' station
  • Alarm head swivels for precise beam alignment
  • Includes hook and loop strips for attachment, but bracket (optional) can also be used
  • Uses 9V battery (not included)

Note: Bracket piece (depicted) is not included

Question: Maxinum distance between bed monitor and nurse monitor.
Answer: If the facility is equipped with a nurse call system, the distance is variable.  The unit would need to be purchased with the nurse call cable, which is 4ft in length, it will connect from the unit directly to the nurse call system in the patient room, which will then emit the alarm at the nurse's station instead of in room.
