Thanks for your inquiry.

They are not designed to cut a piano wire.  They are pin and ligature cutters and the jaws will deform if used to cut wire. 

If you want to cut wires click here  to view the product (WIRE CUTTER #7001 ELITE).  These pliers will cut up to .020” diameter orthodontic wire.  They are not designed and have not been tested for cutting piano wire.  The overall length of that product is 4 5/8”.

At our Dover ES location we have a Bobath model.
