Blood Chemistry Results

Question
On my blood chemistry results it says my glucose test was invalid due to glycolysis? What does that mean?

Answer

You have a lack of oxygen that pervents sugar development. Glycolysis is the sequence of reactions that converts glucose into pyruvate with the concomitant production of a relatively small amount of ATP. Glycolysis can be carried out anerobically (in the absence of oxygen) and is thus an especially important pathway for organisms that can ferment sugars.

stirrups OB GYN table

Question
I need stirrups only for an antique 1940's walnut OBGYN medical exam table. It has metal bolted stirrup holders, but no stirrups. Used ok. Thank you.

Answer

Thank you for your inquiry. Stirups are manufacturer specific.  In other words, unless a table and stirrups are made by the same manufacturer they are unlikely to work together.  Your  alternative would be to find stirrups which may be close to the original design and then custom adjust them.  Due to liability issues, however, many companies will not sell stirrups separately.
