Portable Dental Delivery Unit with S.E.Suction ProCare II 220 V, 5521DNT

Question
Can this unit have an extra hook up put on for a cavitron?

Answer

Thank you for your inquiry. Procare units are too basic in their capabilities.  ProCare I and ProCare II are primarily designed for dental students to practice with, and for mission trips where minimal dental treatment is better than no treatment at all.  Our more sophisticated, self-contained delivery systems would be able to accommodate an ultrasonic scaler. Please see below for our dental unit with the extra hook up:

ProSeal II, Portable Dental Sealant Unit (220 V)

Portable Dental Restorative Delivery System ProQuest I (220 V)

Portable Dental Delivery System ProQuest II with Fiber Optics (220 V)

Deluxe Static Air Mattress, 000360CSMDM

Question
Could you please advise if this would be ok for my father who lives in a nursing home. has just started to get a pressure sore on this bottom. Does this one have a pump or not. Thank you

Answer

This may reduce the pressure sores your father is getting, however as it is a static (stationary) pad, it may not be as effective as an alternating pressure pad.  This unit does not include a pump.

We would likely recommend that you select something like our Aero-Pulse Alternating Pressure Pump and Pad system.  This item is the same concept, an "air mattress" however, this unit has a pump that continually alternates pressure (or fullness) of air in different cells, thereby reducing pressure on any certain point of the body.
