Bassinet w/ Drawer & Shelf, 71x8207NKM

Question
We are looking for a container to put the clip board on the infant bassinet. Something possibly that would hang from the rails. Do you have such an accessory

Answer

Thank you for your inquiry,  this is not a standard accessory for our bassinets, but to help, we may suggest one of the following.

The links below are for chart holders made for use with our medical carts.  They are meant to be "mounted" onto an accessory bar, which the thin rail on a bassinet may work as.

Travel nebulizer

Question
I am traveling oversees in the next month and do not want to bring along my daughter's larger nebulizer, in addition i do not believe the voltage will work in Europe. Her Dr. mentioned buying a portable nebulizer, but there are so many different options. Can you recommend a device that will work for us? I assume battery powered may be the way to go. Finally if you isolate some options can you provide me the procedure code so that I can inform my insurance company? Thanks

Answer

You are correct.  Europe is on 220/240 volts vs. North America 110/120 volts. If you would like to use your existing nebulizer, you can simply purchase a step-up voltage transformer at a Radio Shack or an electronics store.  Alternatively, you can look at at one of the following models:

Algicell Calcium Alginate Dressing, 22088INM

Question
while using this dressing, will the patient end up with light greenish colored draining, no foul odor?? please let me know as soon as possible.or could it mean that there is some infection? patient is on calcium alginate dressing change daily

Answer

Algicell Calcium Alginate Dressing is a highly absorbent, biodegradable alginate dressing, derived from seaweed.  It is therefore possible that the color you are seeing is inherent to the ingredient make up of the dressing.  Even though, alginate have been used in various forms for fifty years, it remain a poorly understood and compared to other wound dressings, the information is sparse and inconclusive.  Therefore, it would be wise to err on the conservative side and check with a physician.
