We are searching for bars that can be bolted down around the commode for a person who is having equalibruim problems. If a seat can be attached for the commode, that also would be great!!!!

Based on your description, we would recommend a Toilet Safety Frame.  This item bolts to the commode where the toilet seat is attached to the bowl.  This provides support for the person both while sitting down and standing up.

I am 70 yrs. old and remember how the personal whirlpool helped me in high school. I have noticed these units on the internet cost $3400-$5,000. Im on fixed income and really need a lower price if possible. Would this #106 unit do as well as the personal athletc units

how do you get this on and off the patient when they have IVs and other attachments

Answer
Due to the limited size of the gown (small sleeves) if the IV is in the patients arm, there may need to be a disconnect while changing into and out of the gown.  If the IV is in the foot or leg, the gown will simply be slipped on over head as it would a patient without IV.
