My mother is not wheelchair bound, but she does have mobility issues that confine her to an easy chair for much of the day. She has a Medicare Advantage Plan that supplements her Medicare Part B and MassHealth MA Medicaid. What is the procedure to get Medicare reimbursment

My dad is heavy and transfers from bed to wheelchair. Needs bed that is firm yet comfortable. Will this be appropriate If it is too soft his hands sink and he has trouble transferring.

The weight capacity for this mattress is 300 pounds.  If he is heavier, he may need a bariatric capacity mattress.

We may also suggest a transfer board, this can be placed one side on the bed and one side on the wheelchair and he can slide from bed to chair for transfer.

I am not aware what has happened as when we originally received your order it stated the cost was $84.29 including delivery.  This charge is reflective of 5 leg bags, 2 fabric leg bag straps and 1 elastic leg bag strap plus shipping charges.

This item is generally made with the handrail on the right side. However, if you need it on the left side, the product has been updated to where you can specify that (in the options tab), and we will have the warehouse construct it for you that way.

The control vent allows for relief of access pressure.  It is useful if the pressure build up in the bulb exceeds design specification.
