Can the length of tubing make a significant difference in what is ordered verses what the patient actually receives? Can there be loss of O2 through tubing?

Answer
Generally speaking, the length of the tubing has minimum impact on the delivery of oxygen.  The O2 tubing is designed to minimize the internal wall friction between the gas and the tube itself.  You may wish to closely inspect the tubing for cracks or improper sealing.  Hope this helps.

Thank you for replying my question , but I did not mean colonoscopy instrument . I meant an easy to use instrument used for deep rectal biopsies which is the size of a pen . I have seen it previously but unfortunately have forgotten the name of the company producing it . I have actually 3 questions:1) I have decolorized skin spots in the genital area larger then a thumbnail and other small ones (2-3 mm wide) which appears and disappears from time to time (in an approximately three moth period cycle) and they are located on my fingers, forearms and ankles (generally near knuckles and wrists). Can you tell me please if they represent the same disease (the small ones I think they are vitiligo or something) and if there is a cure for them? 2) Around my neck, in the summer time or warmly days, appear some colorized spots which some time connects together, forming something like “filth” or “dirt” marks (I thin this is multicolor psoriasis). How can I treat it and have a permanent result?3) Recently my hips and under the arms (on a large area) it started to itch bad and the skin turned brown to dark-brown (and it’s somehow related and with the periods when I’m nervous, agitated) . Is it possible to be related with the thing that I had used a aluminum based anti-perspirant deodorant? Can you tell me please what can it be?

Thank you for your inquiry.  Though CPAP and BiPAP machines are similar in scope, they are quite different.  Below is just one specific difference between the two machines:

A CPAP machine uses one set pressure for inhalation and exhalation. 

A BiPAP machine uses different set pressures for inhalation and exhalation.

Some users that have difficulty exhaling against the pressure from a CPAP machine do better with a BiPAP.
