I just purchased a rollator to use for my mother who has difficulty walking distances. The instructions said it is not to be used to push someone. She weighs 145 pounds and the maximum weight is 250 pounds. Would it be safe to push her on straight floors such as in a store and parking lot?If not, I will need to return to the store where I puchased the rollator.Thank you.

Rollators are not designed to push people around.  Their intended use is to provide individual support while walking or sitting.  We would recommend keeping the rollator for those times when your mother is able to cover short distances on her own.  When you need to assist your mother, we would recommend a Travel & Transport Wheelchairs.  These chairs are light and can be quickly folded for easy transportation.

At this stage, we are in the process of rebuilding the Epilight we currently have available.  Estimated time to completions is 4-6 weeks.  The issues with these older models is finding the replacement parts to rebuild and then later to service the unit. 

However, if you are interested in a similar, but newer and more advanced model, we do have 2002 Lumenis Vasculight SR.  The unit has the following accessories:

• IPL hand piece
• YAG hand piece
• EpiLight hand piece
• Filters: 560/570/590/615/640/645/695/755nm
• Flat panel touch screen

Unfortunately, we do not have technical specification with regard to the decibel level generated by these low air pressure mattresses.  However, these pumps are designed for critical care applications and are located beneath the bed, thus further reducing any potential noises.
