Question
Hey my name is Zac and I am a senior business student from the University of Oklahoma. I just had a quick question for you for my business plan class. Does your company regularly seek out new technologies or products to be added to your product line? Do medical product manufacturers often try to sell you their new product creations? How do they go about doing this? Thanks, I would appreciate any insight you could give me.
Answer
Hello Zac:
We are regularly solicited by existing vendors with their new product releases as well as those companies which would like for us to represent their products. We stock very few products and will predominantly work with vendors who can offer drop-shipping services. Drop shipping is when a product we sell is delivered to our customer directly from our vendor. In other words, we sell the product, but our vendors stock and ship the product on our behalf. This approach allows us to keep control of our overhead expenses while offering a large selection of products. However, this also creates some limitations as far as the types of products we can sell. Many high tech medical products require training and the manufacturers would like their dealers/distributors to be able to service these products if problems occur. This is not part of our business model. We sell all over the world and can not possibly service products outside of our immediate geographic area. With that said, the cost of adding products to our site is minimal. And as I said before, we are not limited by the quantity or the variety of products which we can offer to our customers. If a product has an online demand and we can locate a reliable, competitive, quality oriented vendor either online or at a medical trade-show, we will make that item(s) available to our customers. We also place great emphasis on service. In order to grow, repeat customers must form the foundation of any business. Outside of pricing, building strong relationships with our existing accounts while growing our new business is essential. Hope this helps. Good luck with your project.

Question
my mother had back surgery fusing two degenerative discs--it did not help as the rest of her discs are degenerating. her pain increases. She cannot get in and out of bed. she needs a bed that will be comfortable for her but easy to get in an out of. suggestions? does medicaid pay for these kinds of things she also has aarp supplemental insc.
Answer
Dear Marti:
Thank you for your inquiry. We would recommend that you consider a Hi Low Hospital Bed coupled with Air Mattress to provide your mother with the most comfort and ease of getting in and out of bed, in neccessary. You may also wish to consider a Trapeze to aid her in moving around in the bed. Medicare and insurance coverage are addressed on a case by case basis. We would recommend you contact them directly or through a Medicare lisenced provider in your area. For any other questions, please feel free to contact us at 877-706-4480.

Question
I want to use these to cover a dust mop, to pick up lint, dust, use spray on it, etc. I'm looking for a material that is NOT plastic on the outside, though the inside may be... like disposable surgical persona protection gowns. Please advise if this is product will work for my use.
Answer
Dear Dodie,
Thank you for the inquiry. The shoe cover is not plastic on the outside. I can not say that it will definitely do the specific job you are asking about but you can try it out. The manufacturer told me that it would probably work.

Question
Is this good to use for sports activities, for when injuries occur, such as sprains or strains? I have kids in basketball, softball, football and wrestling and am wondering if this would work as well or better than ice packs.
Answer
Dear Rob,
Thank you for the inquiry. The biofreeze product is one of the most popular pain relievers recommended by physical therapists. We sell large quantities to schools, universities and the military. Try out a 16 oz., it is much smoother than icy hot.
