My 77yr old Mother has broken her left big toe. Dr @ hospital has suggested that I get her a pair of shoes that will assist her.Dr suggested a toe less shoe with velcro strapping with a solid sole.Would this shoe be ok or should the sole be flat.

We own a hospital bed. My spouse is unable to use his feet to help transfer from bed to wheelchair, wheelchair to car etc. What kind of trapeze would we need. [This is a temporary situation following surgery.] He weighs 190

This item is something used generally in instances of the patient needing assistance to sit up, not transfer from bed to chair or chair to car.  We would recommend the use of a transfer board, this is an item the patient can use to scoot from one surface to another.

I am having major ankle surgery. I have Parkinsons disease with strong balance problems. Would it be safe for me to use something like this or just stick with the wheeelchair

If you have balance issues, it may be suggested to use a wheelchair as some balance is reuqired to operate the knee walker although you may use the handle bar to support some of your weight.

I know you leave the dressing on for 7 days before changing it but is there a time limit as to how long you can use the dressing I have been using it now for 8 weeks and recently have started to have a lot of pain with the wound could this been the length of time I have been using the dressing?

There are certain chairs with height adjustable arms, but these are normally heavy duty chairs weighing over 20 pounds.  Adjustable arms can also mean that the arms are "swing back" or "detachable."
