when you buy a water mattress for a hospital do I need a pad under it I have never saw a water mattress for a hospital bed.Any help would be great as I dont know what to buy or even what is the best when it comes to comfortThank you,Annette

Water mattresses are not typically used in hospital settings due to high potential of puncture.  Water mattress overlays such as this one are more common.  If you can tell us a bit more about the individual such as age, weight, height, and issues and the size of a bed frame we will be happy to recommend a mattress best suited for your needs.

The inseam for these pants is 31in and the string color depends on your color coding.  Angelica color coding has a brown string and neck and Medline color coding has a green string and neck.

Thank you for the inquiry. I hope this helps:

How to use the incentive spirometer

Sit on the edge of your bed if possible, or sit up as far as you can in bed.
Hold the incentive spirometer in an upright position.
Place the mouthpiece in your mouth and seal your lips tightly around it.
Breathe in slowly and as deeply as possible, raising the yellow piston toward the top of the column. The yellow coach indicator should be in the blue outlined area.
Hold your breath as long as possible (for at least five seconds). Allow the piston to fall to the bottom of the column.
Rest for a few seconds and repeat Steps one to five at least 10 times every hour when you are awake.
Position the yellow indicator on the left side of the spirometer to show your best effort. Use the indicator as a goal to work toward during each repetition.
After each set of 10 deep breaths, practice coughing to be sure your lungs are clear. If you have an incision, support your incision when coughing by placing a pillow firmly against it.
Once you are able to get out of bed, walk in the hallway and cough well. You may stop using the incentive spirometer unless otherwise instructed by your health care provider.

Unfortunately, the compression systems we have do not support lymphedema treatment of the torso.  You may try Lympha Press as they have several different compression garments for various parts of the body including a jacket for torso compression.
