Yes, the battery is able to be changed by the user.  There should be a small battery door on the back of the unit which can be opened to remove and replace battery.

Thank you for contacting us.  The bucket is removable.  The chair is made to stand independently, it is not made to go over a toilet.  The shipping is not included in the price. It usually runs about $50-$60 dollars.  This item is usually shipped within 48 hours of order placement.

As long as these companies have an FDA (Food & Drug Administartion) approval, the units should work within acceptable industry parameters.
