This item does have replacement casters available; they are 3in ball bearing casters, all locking and swivel.  The price for a set of 4 is $44.64 + shipping.

Blickman has discontinued the MR Conditional line of stacking stools.  They do still offer a line of stacking stools but they are not MR Conditional (MRI Compatible).

Please explain how these work if there is no power supply to aid in lifting the person. How strong does the caregiver have to be to use this type instead of the electric type Also, what type of sling would be best to transfer the patient from bed to wheelchair of from bed to commode?Thank you.

Answer

These lifts are hydraulic and there is a lever that is pumped to raise or lower the patient.  The caregiver should have moderate strength in order to operate a manual lift as the pumping to raise will be more difficult on them than an electric lift.

We would recommend a diverse sling to avoid having to remove the sling when the patient is using the commode.  We have mesh slings which can be used in the shower which also have commode openings that can be used while toileting.

However, because the order is to be shipped to an international location, company policy requires a prepayment via bank wire transfer. Once you are an established customer credit card payments may be used as a form of payment. We can also accept Paypal payments, if wire transfer is not convenient for you. Per the manufacturing division:

Fiberglass is wonderful material and will not melt or distort. It is fire retardant also due to additives in the resin.  Additives can be customized based upon your requirements.

Please advise of the following:

What temperature range you will be using to sanitize the carts?

How long will the carts be exposed to the heat?

For what purposes will the carts be used?
