We would strongly recommend against using a nebulizer as a substitute for a C-PAP machine.  Are you eligable for Medicaid coverage?  Do you have medical insurance?  If so, please contact those organizations for assistance with CPAP purchase.

I have had a PulmoMate nebulizer for 15-20 yrs. It recently started putting out a lot less air. I have to wait 20 minutes for the steam to start. Is there anything I can do? Can the machine be sent in for repair?

Due to the age of this nebulizer, the cost of repair would most likely be greater than the cost of a brand new unit.  Even with proper maintance, these units are not designed to last as long as yours has.
